How can I help?

Tips, tricks, and answers to your most common questions about PaperMe.

Printing Tips

The "Scale 100%" Rule

This is the most important tip! In your printer dialog, always set the "Scale" to 100% or "Actual Size". If you choose "Fit to Page", your printer might slightly shrink the lines, and they won't be perfectly accurate in millimeters anymore.

Choosing the right paper

For everyday notes, standard 80gsm paper is fine. But for calligraphy or music staff paper, I recommend 100gsm or higher to prevent ink from bleeding through.

Exporting Files

PDF vs SVG

Use **PDF** for immediate printing. Use **SVG** if you want to open the layout in design software like Adobe Illustrator or Figma to add your own custom graphics.

High Resolution

Our files are vector-based, which means they are infinite resolution. They will stay perfectly crisp whether you print them on a home ink-jet or a professional laser printer.

Customizing

Millimeter Accuracy

You can adjust line spacing by 0.1mm increments. This level of control is great for creating specialized journals or engineering sheets.

Custom Paper Sizes

If you don't see your paper size in our list, choose "Custom" and enter the width and height manually. We support everything from tiny labels to large posters.
